E.Y.T. Therapist's Certificate Training 2011-2013

E.Y.T. Therapist Training will launch its comprehensive program in the Spring of 2011. Meeting over a two year period, the training
will be comprised of four 10-day modules, offering close to 1000 hours of training, including mentorship and on-line coursework. The program
will be held outside Seattle, Washington at a residential retreat center. The E.Y.T. Training is designed to empower yoga teachers to become
skilled and confident in the intricacies of yoga therapy on the physical, psycho-spiritual and physiologic levels, utilizing the best of yoga,
ayurveda and western body/mind science.
Pre-requisites for the program include an RYT - 500 plus a minimum of 2 years teaching experience or equivalent; a minimum of
100 hrs. of Anatomy and Physiology is also required. A & P from massage schools or equivalent applies. For applicants with no formal
training in Viniyoga, there will be a Bridge Program available to develop the theory, skills and methodological understanding necessary to enter
the E.Y.T. training.

E.Y.T. Faculty
Your Essential Yoga Therapy instructors each bring a complex combination of academic training and experience from the field of yoga
therapy and other health care professions. The collaboration of these therapists ensures you will receive a uniquely rich exposure to
the various applications of yoga therapy in the areas of physical, physiologic and emotional health. With their guidance you will enter
the field confident of your scope of practice and empowered to network with health professionals from both Western and
Complimentary medical traditions.

Bridge Program: For teachers from Hatha Yoga Traditions who have not had training in the Viniyoga Principles of Breath and
Movement, Science of Sequencing, Vedic Chant and the Pancha Maya model, this 8-day course will be a requirement. The Bridge Program
is designed to establish foundational teaching principles which will be utilized extensively throughout the therapist training.
Cost for the Bridge Program is $885 before Dec. 1, afterwards, $1,000, and it will be held in the residential setting of Robin's Fall City studio. Accommodations will
be provided at minimal additional cost. Dates for the Bridge Program: Jan 22-30, 2011. Space is limited for this program, please
