These classes are designed for those with limited mobility, in recovery from accidents or injuries or who are living with chronic pain or chronic illness. Phone consultation with instructor is required prior to joining. Robin: 425-222-6350

These classes are open to anyone in the community who is living with cancer and would like to participate in a group class oriented to meet the needs at any stage of treatment or recovery.
Time: 3:00-4:15 pm
Robin orients this class specifically for the needs of those with MS, Parkinson's and other movement disorders. We work primarily from a chair, with floor work optional. Proprioception, core building, range of motion and strength are all creatively woven together at a pace that is well-tolerated and supportive for this population. Robin has developed a unique and specialized method for meeting the needs of this population and is excited to this support the greater Eastside MS community with this offering.
This 6-week course is uniquely designed to help those who are interested in becoming aware of how to transform the obstacles to peace of mind and healing. Based on the wisdom teachings from yoga and Ayurveda, Robin will lead the group in discussion, pranayama (breathing), meditation and mantra practices. Each week students will learn specific tools that build emotional resilience and support spiritual growth. Weekly readings, journaling, home-practice and commitment to the course as a whole is required. No prior experience with yoga necessary. Physical postures will not be a part of this class, those will physical challenges are encouraged to join.
