Bridge Program: Preparatory Training to become an EYT Yoga Therapist

Challenge yourself to grow professionally as a yoga teacher in this nine-day training!
The Bridge Program is required for applicants without formal training in the Viniyoga tradition. This course establishes the theory, skills and methodological understanding necessary to enter the E.Y.T. Therapist Training. The program is intended to act as a bridge for those with an RYT-500 from any Hatha yoga tradition interested in becoming a professional Essential Yoga Therapist.
The Bridge Program will deepen your understanding of yoga through in-depth exploration of the following topics:
- Principles of breath and movement
- Proper sequencing to ensure structural safety
- Individual adaptation of postures and sequences
- The Human Energy System
- The pancha maya kosha as a model for healing
Vedic chanting and study of the Yoga Sutras will be woven in over the course of the week. This intensive will equip you with tools to enrich your personal practice and inspire your students.

Yoga Therapist Training: What We Offer
- Comprehensive base in the foundations of yoga therapy from a Viniyoga perspective, teaching from Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra and the Pancha Kosha model.
- Appropriate, adaptive utilization of the tools of asana, pranayama, chanting, meditation, inquiry, yoga nidra, bhavana, use of props & restoratives; for a wide range of therapeutic conditions.
